Being from Haiti, I have always been surrounded by nature, and have witnessed my mother harness the power of these natural ingredients. Growing up with this natural exposure has made it easy for me to incorporate the island’s natural resources in my daily beauty routines. From a tender age, I was influenced by my mother’s knowledge of DIY formulations, and every single one of them worked! 

Taking advantage of the island’s pure raw ingredients, and in search of the perfect tan for the summer of 2017, Babe Essentials was born right in my house! Coconut oil, the holy grail of our beach weekends, was cold pressed in my kitchen, which eventually became a full fledged experimentation site. By the end of 2017, we had created our first collection of body care essentials.

In 2018, I was diagnosed with perioral dermatitis/eczema. After various unsuccessful trips to the doctor, I decided to return to my roots and the healing I’ve always found in the nature around me. Through these ingredients, I finally found relief, and more importantly, a lasting cure.

Today, Babe Essentials is on a mission to produce high quality products with simple and pure ingredients from our little corner of the world in Haiti. We only use a handful of ingredients in each product and never anything you can’t pronounce. Let the power of nature and its ingredients soothe your skin and enhance your well-being.
